Wise pattern breast reduction is best for women with extremely large breasts and considerable sagging, although it also produces the most amount of breast reduction scars.

It's commonly referred to as the anchor and it involves using scars that go around the nipple areola complex vertically down to the crease underneath the breast or the inframammary fold and subsequently underneath across the inframammary fold.
