Face+Body Cosmetic Surgery’s very own plastic surgeon, Dr. Nick Masri, was interviewed about his practice in Miami, FL.

Dr. Masri is candid in his responses, explaining that while the practice is broad-based, he does have some personal favorite procedures. He admits his interest in post-bariatric surgery procedures, outlines what these procedures consist of, and gives an overview of the selection criteria for appropriate surgical candidates. The most important of these criteria are a stabilized goal weight and an absence of uncontrolled medical conditions.

This surgery was so-named by the nurses in the operating room who noticed that the nuances of the lower body lifts that Dr. Masri was performing resembled the attributes of the mermaid-style wedding gown or ball gown. It was a cinched, tiny waist, with a sleek and curvy hip and buttocks contour. Dr. Masri fields calls from all over from patients looking for this procedure.
